One cannot, in any absolute sense, know God, for how can that relative knowing know the Absolute in absoluteness? To say "I do not know God" is a higher expression of Truth than to say "I know God." To say "I know God" denotes a subject separate from God, and God is an object that knowing can reach by movement of mentality. Relative knowledge of God, then, which is absolutely not-knowing in regard to Knowing, is taken into the absoluteness of a simple Knowing. Knowing, then, is to know God, even as to know oneself, but this is Knowing in a simplicity allowing no addition or direction, for to assume such is to assume Knowing were incomplete or allowed for a spaciousness of movement. Rather, the movement of relative knowing arises from this Knowing, which splits into subject and object, and the incompleteness of knowing arises as a reflection of the perfection of Knowing. Drop knowing to Know is a simple process of transcending mind to experience the dissolution of subject and object, as well as any need to reach out from yourself, so to speak, to know. Finally, then, to know the immediacy of this Iness-You-Are is to know God, and the total immediacy of the Iness is the same as the total otherness of God.
